      Hi Ralph,

      Thank you for your feedback.
It really helps us to update our roadmap, but all feature requests not necessarily come through this forum.

        Hi,

        Thank you for your feedback.

Unfortunately, unlike the BPMN2 standard, the XMI standard does not include the diagram in the exchange format, only the model part is concerned.

Could you share with us your use case?
GenMyModel already includes a versioning system.
Why do you need to export and re-import from and to GenMyModel?

Feel free to contact us in private message.

        Regards,

        Hi Frédéric,

GenMyModel natively supports the last UML version: 2.5 (Eclipse implementation).

Yes, please, send us the XMI files. We will have a look on them.

        Regards,
        Alex

        Viggo,

We still are working to support as much as tool XMI variations.
Are you able to send us the model?
It would be very helpful to improve our test cases.

And, you are right, we can try to send a more detailed error message when the XMI isn't recognized.

          Hi Andrew,

          Thank you for your idea.
You could already drag and drop a table to another diagram from the tree view to the diagramming area.

The PDF export put each collaboration or process diagram in a dedicated section and in a dedicated page (you can create a new diagram using File -> new diagram). Each process is thus separated across the PDF file.
However, we do not split multiple pools represented in a single diagram so you can model interactions between pools. Consequently, they are exported in the same section. Is this the case you mention in your feature request?

              Hi,

              Thank you for your feedback.
Indeed in BPMN artifacts are not contained by lanes but by the process. In our graphic model they are therefore not contained by lanes. This also allows to move them freely on the diagram (for example putting them between two lanes).
Waypoints on data links and comment links are also linked to the plan, which produce the behavior you described.
We will think of improving our move algorithm. For example one solution would be to move all the artifacts that are linked to element in a lane when this one is moved.

              Regards,
              Adrien.

Are you looking for this feature on the BPMN2 process animation?

                  Hi,

GenMyModel does not yet support CodeCommit as it relies on a dedicated authentication mechanism. Currently, GenMyModel can generate towards every git repository through HTTPS that uses basic authentication (such as github/bitbucket...). We will probably add the CodeCommit support in a future version.

The reverse engine is able to bring back javadoc only as they are the comments which are clearly linked to a code block (Class, Attribute or Method). The comment is store in a form of a UML "Comment" in the commented object.

E.g., in this repository https://github.com/aranega/featuretests/tree/onlyAtts, where A owns a Javadoc comment on the class, the reverse operation creates a A class with a UML comment inside A.

The RDS GenMyModel model is a physical database model. You should do as you do when creating a SQL schema.
For a one to one relationship you should create a relationship between the two primary keys.

For a more conceptual model, you can have a look at the UML class diagram.

                        Hi Lewis,

                        Thank you for your feedback!

For UML all standard primitive types are available, but you can create your own type 'on fly'. Enter a new name in the select type combobox and select 'Create...'

For RDS you can create your own type from the toolbar or using the 'y' short cut. (We will consider adding the 'on fly' creation).

                        Regards,

                            @Mick Wren:

Hi, and thanks for the feedback.
The current behavior for the drag&drop in the editor is invalid in regards to the BPMN spec. The dropped elements were "reused" in several diagrams with several graphical representations (which is not allowed in BPMN). That could cause problems importing the model into other tools.
We will work on a way to add the ability to drag&drop from the tree, while remaining within the bounds of the specs for a future version. In the meantime we will have to disable the drag&drop feature.

You could copy-past elements and you could drag-and-drop elements from the tree view to show the same element in multiple diagrams.

But, you could not currently copy-past elements from on project to another.

Could you share your idea to improve it?

You could already create new lifelines (using the create lifeline tool or the shortcut 'l'.)
You could also move lifelines and executions, other elements are automatically moved according to the sequence flow semantic.

Please, share with us your difficulties.

Thank you for your idea Tim.
The database model is very close to the SQL language. Integrity constraints in relationships are defined using the 'Match type' property of reference.

If you need a higher level objects/relationships model, you could use the UML class diagram that allow to easily express bidirectional associations with custom multiplicities.

                                          Thanks for the feedback.

Actually, you can't login with two different accounts within the same browser.
You need first to logout and login with the other account.

Please, let me know if it solved the issue.

Thank you for your idea. We are currently working on script/macro.
Could you give us some shortcuts customization you would be able to do?
